Pretty happy with the increase in power, and control. worth the weight penalty from the ashimas, hands down...

Cool, it works very well. Overall amazing! I had other rotors before, Ashima Air-rotor, and the performance gain is incredible I run the ceramic pads, with these and have had more stopping power than the organic ones.

Mine won't stay damn straight, I popped an Avid heat shedding HS1 to replace it...

Hmm, that sucks, what size? your'e bending the rotors by braking? or have the bolts loosened slightly?

180mm. I'll straighten them perfectly on the Park rotor gauge and go on one ride and they go back to rubbing on the pads pretty badly. And it's not a matter of the pistons being pushed out too far or something. So I bought a new rotor and new pads. Boss hasn't sent through the order yet though.

Hmm, that's weird, mine have been outstanding thus far. maybe it was a bad rotor. the new avid rotors do work well though...

Yeah Avid rotors are great, about the only thing great about Avid regarding brakes. I called Shimano about it and the guy said I'd have to send it in....and I was like, well doesn't that mean I would have to buy a new rotor anyway? I haven't been impressed with their CS at all. I called them a while bike asking if their XT chainrings were proprietary and if I could run them on my SRAM cranks because SRAM rings suck...he's like sure dude yeah it'll work...and lo and behold it didn't work and I had to file down the tabs on the crankset.
