Selected by Ian Hylands - I kind of want to go ride my bike now. Like a lot. Almost desperate. Need to go ride. This photo has that effect on me... I'm not sure if it's the beautiful trail winding off through the image with what looks like endless turns, or the thought that it probably goes all the way down to town by the lake....
I've ridden all over western North America, and this trail is one of my favorites. It has such great flow the entire way. And to answer Ian's question, it doesn connect to trails that bring you to valley bottom!
Easy thurr buddy. Anyone who thinks Canada has the only good riding hasn't ridden anywhere else. A lot of people ride in this part of the world so there's lots of amazing trail building, but trails can be built most anywhere. So it's stupid to think there aren't equally amazing places to ride all over the world, including natural terrain. That's too bad you got neg'd by a couple of people but there's no need to start throwing around labels. That said, I'm with Ian. I feel like a crackhead. I look at that picture and need to get on my bike! *twitch*
and let me know when your up there bscar and we'll make sure you get the dinkeye treatment.. Jersied! If there are too many canadians on here then why don't you go read your mountain bike action magazine.. sick ad's in there..
@doorknob100 you mean west coast of canada is the best place in the world!!! cause i'm from the east coast of canada and we sure have some really nice good place to ride but not as good as the west coast!!
I like how he says that the only reason people neg prop him is because 3/4 of this Canadian website is, well, Canadian, but then he continues on to insult us all. Seems legit.
When you say trails can be built anywhere is not true, me and my friends build trails and the jumps/burms get torn down and the trail,,,which we built... gets turned into a hiker only trail.
No I live in California, which outside of Canada, is probably a top 10 riding location worldwide. But Canada is still the best. That's why the World Cup standings' top 20 is packed full of Canadians every year. And I agree with Sean-a-e completely, there are great places to ride in every corner of the world, but you're going to find a higher frequency of quality trails in Canada more than anywhere else. However, I still have to throw in a 'MERICA at the end of this, sorry everyone .
Nice token clarky shot! Turning into a good week for ya Bruno! Anyone keen to see another of Bruno's pics of alpine epic-ness in revy, just found one in photo gallery of new june issue of Bike mag, sictoria bruddee!!
this is the kind of photo, that makes me cry, that i'm not in canada. what a magnificent place. my love to all you canadian bros, you live in an awesome country !
perfect, but @ ZachHinton11, god isn't real, and if he is he's a cruel sadist, and if you believe him to be real just keep it in your head, this is no place for such language.
Instead of being a hater on people with beliefs, why don't you try instead to appreciate the spiritual emotions stired by the imagery that ZachHinton11 was trying to express.
Although Zach's comments do seem to suggest worship of one particular deity, the underlying theme of his post, really, was to appreciate the beauty of nature and be grateful for every day we have, which is a theme of spirituality that should be common among all mankind, regardless of whether or not you subsricbe to religious beliefs.
Stop hating. There is room here for ALL beliefs, except hate.
Exactly, you have every right to express what you want on Pinkbike, as long as it's not hateful, degrading, or discriminatory. @adonisJudge just because you don't agree with his beliefs doesn't give you the right to tell him to keep it in his head.
