Its wearing the rim down pretty good. Olly asked me to upload of a photo of the brake because he was having some troubles.

Probably caused by the dust you can see on the rim.

Didn't think of that...We had some people come over to do some brick work on our garage. Dust everywhere.

More I think from the pads . Dark pads are great for chrome rims . Clear better for color . Could also be the rim. Which one is on it ?

Painted or black ano. Mine is black ano and I am running clear pads . No wear yet . Did see another runway that was trashed though and asked the guy . He just told me he was using what every pads came on his tektro brake . It was solid black

Not painted. These brakes are cheapos as are the pads that came with the brake. So that could be the problem..

It would be the dust. Just grab some CRC Brakleen and wipe the rims down when they get dusty. It's a really good degreaser as well. tup

Rubbing alcohol works best. Degreaser eats the pads if left on. Look into eclat unit pads. Kind of noisy but stopping is great

Not degreaser, Brakleen. It dries up instantly, much like alcohol, except it's made for brakes. Alcohol would work, though. Also, Fly Zapatas are great pads as well.
