This pic has all the tell tale signs of manipulation. I'm sure the tuck is real, but the height may have been exaggerated. Photos with solid color back rounds are super easy to do this with the photoshop patch tool. Only, the tool leaves a slight bit of pixel slop around the edges of the area selected. The blur tool could have cleaned that up. Also, photos that were once a PSD file lose the digital tags that were originally on them. This is the camera type, focal length, etc.
I'm super glad PB looked into this pic before making it POD. But hey, who am I to argue with a guy who really likes boats? Imo, that's also the ugliest tuck I've ever seen. Way over done, and unnecessary. I'm not a fan of the trick to begin with, but some riders just make it look awful!
Okay...so this is in no way photoshoped. I have no idea how to use the program. I'm Daryl's (the rider) girlfriend. My mum got the camera...a canon eos 1000D...so I thought I'd take it up the skatepark one evening to see if I could get a good photo to put on his website/blog. I put it on a automatic sport setting which I have no idea what the exposure is or size of the photo or anything.
He put it on facebook and got quite a few likes so I thought I may aswell put it on here so I made an account especially, hence why I only have one photo. I'm amazed that it got POD, I am a art student but am a complete amature at photography.
