 No its painted but professionally. I've used it a fair bit and the paint is holding up brilliantly, looks like it was painted yesterday. Definitely stands out but its likely to be up for sale in the next week as I don't have room for 2 bikes and I'm expecting delivery of a commencal dh v3 soon.
