Selected by Ian Hylands - An action packed shot to start the week off right. I find the light in this shot to be incredibly beautiful, and the slightly higher camera angle really works to make the composition interesting. A different perspective on things is usually a good thing for a photo...
johnny, you're a tad late on telling everyone that this is done in freestyle moto... Anyways, one of the biggest reasons I love watching Mike Montgomery is because of all the insane moto tricks he's bringing to mtbing. It's awesome to see that other riders are doing the same. It's so much more fun to watch instead of the "usual" no-hander backie combos... although tuck backies are hardly usual, you get what I'm trying to say, haha.
The moto guys have been doing Cordova back flips (especially in contests) for years but to do one on a bike is something completely different and sweet I might add.
i get how someone could (certainly not me) get into that position in mid air.. but what i want to know is how would he get out and back on the pedals??
