i too would crap myself, and i would make it look easy to crash and end up in the whistler emerg- again- if i was trying to throw down like this.
but as for riding whistler in wet conditions, i have found that both whistler and silverstar are phenomenally grippy in the wet. something about the rock and soil i suppose. either way i don't mind riding either resorts in the rain. so if you make it all the way to whis and the weather is shit, all might not be lost...
yeah the rock is mostly granite which is fine in the rain, unlike limestone which is all we have in ontario! and it looks like the dirt has enough drainage to keep it tacky and not slippery, I guess a high sand/gravel content. yay for whistler!
I live in Whis, id say its far more fun riding in the rain here than the dry. basically no matter how wet the ground is you have hero dirt, but when it gets dry everything gets super dusty
I quite like this shot, but can't help my eye being drawn to the out of focus stuff in the foreground.
I think I would prefer a portrait crop of this one, which would leave some of the foreground, but it would be much more subtle.
