 Yeah but if you're going to break composition rules you at least need to have nice and even tones. These colours are flat and more vibrant up top than on the bottom.

 I would agree except i do think this has a consideration of the rule of thirds in it. The stem on the first bike is dead centre of the page, both BB's line up near where the bottom line would be, back tire/foot line up left, seat post kinda lines up right. Quite an interesting picture really
