Good morning Suspended! I am so Happy that you four talented and handsome boys (especially the tall one!) give me a reason to work out in the morning. You provide 15 grams of stoke per serving, mixed with rad riding and killer cinematography, blended with cold water until lumps disintegrate. I then pour that power-stoke workout mix into a large pitcher, which I then pour into a funnel which is inserted into my anus for maximum gnar absorption.
(Jul 9, 2012 at 8:20)
the dust specks in the sky made me think they were stars! Siiiick shot, you guys are on point!
(Jul 9, 2012 at 13:31)
and the winning comment goes to.....
(Jul 14, 2012 at 1:02)
I smell a little bit of photoshop here, the way the stars sit infront of the silouetted hill excuse my spelling
(Jul 14, 2012 at 1:08)
could well be dust lit up by the flash, it looks like there was another flash used to capture the rider, then one for the dust on the jump
(Jul 14, 2012 at 3:01)
it's really hard to tell, it just doesnt look like dust, but it probably is..
(Jul 14, 2012 at 3:26)
(Jul 14, 2012 at 3:55)
I heard in 2020 Rampage will be on Mars!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 7:17)
The thing above the dude's head is a galaxy. Which makes this even more sweet!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 8:59)
(Jul 14, 2012 at 11:05)
Definitely some photoshop, I don't think its possible to get the stars that well without an exposure shot, has to be stitched. But does it even matter? Looks amazing.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 18:29)
talking at least 15-30 seconds to capture stars.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 18:37)
Awesome shot. I'm pretty sure none of them are stars however. I believe it all to be dust. The fact that it looks like he's jumping across a galaxy is amazing though.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 20:48)
The POD from a few days ago of the guy riding across the arch is another example of a long exposure shot that allows stars to be exposed properly, while also freezing the action with timed strobes. However, the EXIF shows that this shot was only 1/100s, meaning the specks are dust, not stars, in this case.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 21:43)
oh my god.. everyone is a bitch about how the shot is taken and that its photo shopped.. this is such a nice looking photo so well done i love it, new desktop back ground for sure!
(Jul 15, 2012 at 5:10)
I don't think anyone's being a bitch about how it was taken. Interested, yes.
(Jul 15, 2012 at 6:22)
Smike. you will find its called critque , discussing how photos are taking is not hating.
(Jul 15, 2012 at 9:15)
That's exactly what I was saying. My comment was to WildWill.
(Jul 15, 2012 at 12:08)
PHOTOSHOP! Everyone care to notice the erased dust near the take off?!?!
(Jul 15, 2012 at 12:38)
Okay everyone... It's not photo shop. I don't use photoshop I use LR4 nothing really done to the shot but clarity and sharpening! (what's the point to take a photo If ur gonna ruin it with post processing) Yes those are dust particles in the sky not stars. It was taken at almost pitch black and lit with two flashes. One to light the dust and one for the rider.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 22:08)
This is beautiful work. I actually dont feel qualified enogh to point out all of the aspects of this photo that make it technically superb, so all I can really say is holy frakin crap, you knocked it out of the box!!! POY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 7:30)
I like the simplicity of what's going on to bring the image together with the lighting and dust. Great shot.
(Jul 9, 2012 at 9:30)
I would be stoked if this got pod
(Jul 14, 2012 at 7:36)
You stoked?! Lol
(Jul 14, 2012 at 20:24)

(Jul 14, 2012 at 0:48)
Pretty rock'n photo
I love the dust it has made its own cosmos withing the sky.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 8:00)
very nice shot . but cant see that being shot in the darkness with a 100th of a second shutter speed. unless it was shot in near daylight and edited . still very good
(Jul 14, 2012 at 8:08)
It was almost pitch black actually. Props to Luca for hitting that jump when he could barely see.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 7:05)

(Jul 10, 2012 at 9:05)
Super clean buddy. I like the background stars
(Jul 14, 2012 at 3:45)
They aren't stars, it's dust being lit up by the flash haha
(Jul 18, 2012 at 17:17)
Aww seriously? that's a little disheartening.
(Jul 14, 2012 at 12:50)

I want to see the edit of this photo !
(Jul 14, 2012 at 15:58)
looks like the dirt was thrown by hand, makes the photo look sick!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 0:17)
So this is what its like on mars....
(Jul 18, 2012 at 5:34)
How can you see the sky that clearly at ISO 500??
(Jul 19, 2012 at 3:43)
I think because of the flash and the little specs u can see are dust from the take-off not stars
(Jul 14, 2012 at 12:55)
(Jul 9, 2012 at 8:06)
(Jul 14, 2012 at 15:48)
thats the best POD yet
(Jul 14, 2012 at 13:41)
(Jul 14, 2012 at 19:09)
(Jul 9, 2012 at 8:25)
where the f*ck did that cloud come from?!
(Jul 12, 2012 at 21:11)
what Ive been thinking is they threw some dirt right in front of the rider so when he rode past he literally rode through the dirt and that seems to be the reason for all the flicked rocks going in the direction right. The rider smashed through the thrown dirt and hit some rocks across the screen...Love to know if that dirt was thrown before he rode through it, or if it's actual dirt from the ground being tossed up from speed....?
(Jul 14, 2012 at 22:14)
The very far right portion of the dust cloud strongly resembles the eerie silouhette of a 'ghost rider'. Look closley, and I think you will determine the answer to your query.
(Jul 20, 2012 at 13:52)
Exnihilo, that is very cool!!
(Aug 1, 2012 at 0:22)
I wish I could take credit for such an amazing piece of work! If I had as much talent as either the photographer or the rider i would quit my job!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 1:34)
ET phone home!
(Jul 14, 2012 at 1:02)
