Looks BURLY! I almost got a KS but got a sweet deal on a Xfusion! How do you like the under the seat lever? I can run mine either way and I hate cables!

oh its burly for sure! i prefer the lever just because it means i have to do less maintainance and it means one less cable on my bike. the remote is definately easier to operate though because you dont have to take your hand off of the bars

Yea, I used the lever on my POS Joplin. Was just considering running a cable? Think ima stick with the lever! What year is the bike? It doesnt look like the Propietary (did I say that rite?) shock that the new ones have! Thats an idea I dont care for!

haha i think you said it right, youre talking about the DRCV shock with the dual chamber right? The frame's an '08 so the shock is just a regular float rp2 with an extra volume air can. the parts are all different years, i built it up piece by piece with whatever parts i could find in my garage or on craigslist.

Yea, thats the shock with the funny lookin head! Thats the best way to build a bike! My previous 3 Nomads were built that way!

wish i could say I've owned 3 nomads... Hahaha but yeah its awesome being able to build your bike up with whatever parts you want

how do you like ur KS?
  • 2 1
This was my first ride on it so i cant say anything about reliability but im really impressed. out of the box it's buttery smooth and has zero play, i didnt even need to "break it in" to get rid of any stiction

I have had my KS for about 10 months and thought it was great.I paid $50 from Wiggle and got the remote...It has changed my whole riding experience once again....Great little piece of kit that you will never be able to go without from now on.
