Joland Neff came out swinging in the Women's U23 Race, Conditions were still ridiculously slick--traction was basically non existent in more than one section of track, forcing many riders to run anything remotely steep--up or down.

That soil looks prime to me. maybe if the weren't running semi-slicks for low rolling resistance, she could get some traction.

Kinda defeats the purpose of a bicycle race.

There should be penalties for dismounting in XC.
