 Stay away from those treks. With the amount of money that joe spends there, they should've gave him a new one regardless. Not to start a brand war, but specialized would have sent a new frame within 3 days.

 Frame breaks under normal riding usually = warranty from Trek. I recommend having the LBS have their Trek rep take a look at it.

 It has a Lyrik on it, they said no. They sent the frame to Trek corporate, they said no.

 Yeah. Had a pretty major calf contusion. It's is healin though. The wreck was in late August. Just didn't want to post up until I knew what trek was going to do about it.

 Ah ok, well thats the main thing man. Sucks that they aren't doing warranty though.. is it because of the 170mm fork?

 It was at 160 but it is one reason. They don't cover crashes which is hilarious to me.

 Yeah not very happy about it. There are 2 local Trek stores owned by the same guy ad I am hoping that he is going to make things right.
