Sam Pilgrim isn't a fan of this event. "I hate Rampage" was his tweet soon after the event. Can you blame the guy when your second wrong goes horribly awry? Huge over the bars is an understatement. Sam walked away though and will be partying hard this evening. Tough Kid.
i know im gonna get neg propped for this but idc....i honestly hate full suspension bikes, they make everything to easy, but everyone "needs" one now, so everyone hates on my comment...honestly, this is possible on a a hardtail, thinking it will break your legs is retarded, it wont, you just need the right angle.
and everyone is going over to fullys now, so even dirt jumpers "need" a fully, i honestly think its retared to make fullys seem right, they just make it to easy!
k not rly sure how to answer that, i said hardtail, not rigid.... but still, it is possible, you just need to use your arms and your legs as suspension.
not rampage, but just riding in general, i mean, i see fullys in dirt jump parks all the time, and on whistler, i men, i did all the trails at whistler (literally) on my hardtail, so im just saying bringing back hardtail freeriding isnt such a bad thing...
silly polish bikes?? wtf u on about you wanna take a good look at what the english produce they dont have anything on the poles they just have tank bikes like dmr and identiti
@bulpfDJ: I seeeee.... Well that blows. I thought the MX guys were real talented badasses riding rock gardens, table tops, bumpy rhythm sections, tridiculous senders and whatnot but now you've just opened my eyes to the plain honest truth... they're actually supposed to be doing it with speed bikes! :O Man, so many wusses nowadays -.-
^^ that picture haha im dying... but in all seriousness, what the F*CK?!? So what if full suspension makes biking "easier"? The point of biking isn't to be easy, but it certainly isn't to be hard either. The main reason 95% of bikers do it is because its fun. blupfDJ, if riding whistler on your hardtail is more fun for you, then by all means go for it, but don't hate on people with full suspension. It allows riders to go a lot faster over rougher terrain and take bigger drops than they would on a hardtail, and to me that is fun. I'm not discrediting hardtails in any way; I was riding mine earlier today. Neither is better. They are just different.
Dont be offended for expressing your opinion...its just your opinion is dumb, suspension bikes have been tried and trued for years and it takes just as much skill to ride a fully as oppose to a hardtail.
Let this be a lesson to all slopestylers. You can be smart like Sem. and switch up tactics for the rampage or be stubborn and get rag doll down to the medic tent. Nobody cares if you can barspin in a canyon. This is big mountain, we need more benders.
even the commentators said during the event youd die on a hardtail. youd break your ankles if you did the big bikes were bottoming out and grtting sketchy so a hardtail is litterally impossible
