Like a every French car (except Citroen C15) - super fancy but impractical.

Good to see a well positioned shock. That £400 of air sprung technology is well out the way of any mud or rocks thrown from the tyre :\

Interesting look, but the rear triangle looks like it will be a noodle.

Apparently you know very little or nothing about steel vs. aluminum properties.
Here's some reading for you:

Are you kidding me? Your reference or plug leaves out so many factors in material usage and structure. Even if steel is generally 3 times stiffer than aluminum as a 'material', if it's used in this twig-like gauge and configuration, it's still going flex. Not only that, it doesn't look like it's reinforced anywhere on the triangle - just straight butted tubes. I've ridden enough, and even built some steel MTB frames to know how steel reacts to real world riding. There is a reason why you don't see rear triangles on full suspension mountain bikes made out of steel. I have nothing against the bike's looks or suspension design though. It's very unique. Jeesh.
