The 5.0 is key!! Saves me having to hunt down a V8. Just rebuild whatever clapped 5.0 I get instead. I don't have the coin or patience for a resto. Plus, I plan to daily drive it, so I need it to be solid/practical. PS.... 4x4 FTW hopefully!!!
Please say your putting a lift and Michelin military tires on oh man that would be godly, and yea 5.0's are a dime a dozen as soon as my buddy gets room in his shop I'm gonna grab one and start upgrading and rebuilding it then drop her in when shes ready.
Nothing fancy.... leaving it at stock ride height for the chassis and a very slight body drop. I just want to be ok for snow and light offroading. LOL.
The Chevy is running well right now. I am still always working on it, but the plan is to work intensely to finish this build and then put it on the road and take the Chevy off the road to give it some proper restoration love. Projected completion date for this would be about a year from now.
I don't care how this one looks. I just want it to run awesome and get me up and down the Goat Path driveway (4x4's only). I'm gonna beat the shit out of this thing hahahahaha.
I hear that a lot actually. Then next year rolls around and I am in the forest by myself again digging dirt mounds. It's cool though, thanks for at least showing an interest.
