This recent string of POD's is starting to piss me off.... ...I have to keep changing my computer background
(Dec 19, 2012 at 5:09)
Can't help but love the raw power in this photo... I made it my new desktop, too.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 7:49)
Mine too but only for a second. After that I saw how sh*t it looks in the relatively low res and wrong aspect ratio and changed it immediatelly. Havent seen many pictures, or any even, with 1080px width on PB yet and thats a shame really
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:17)
---- what could that possibly be used for in a conversation?... i agree with you krsh it is a little disappointing, but its still gunna be my background.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:34)
What if somebody had to hit a dead horse with a hammer, as you do, and while explaining to someone on this how they had done so, they couldn't really grasp what you were talking about, so that would come into use right there. Pretty straight forward.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:48)
The recent string of PODs has been pissing me off tool 1024x683 looks like ass on a 23".
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:49)
Trail: Air DH Crankworx (??) Um, perhaps not.. Unless they cut down ALL of the trees.. which I think is unlikely..
sweet shot though.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:58)
@shrockie i'm pretty sure its Air DH at Cranworx Les Deux Alpes
(Dec 19, 2012 at 9:27)
You all should shoot your own photos and then they will be as big as you need. Why should us hard working photographers give free hand outs of background photos to all of you?
(Dec 19, 2012 at 9:53)
thats a bit of a silly comment mate.
1. not a lot of us would pay in the first place.
2. if u could take your head out your ass you would be happy with people wanting to use your pics for backgrounds.
3. photographers main customers are company's, advertisers ect......... pinkbike users aint gona pay your way!!!!
4. do you not enjoy taking pics and having other like minded people appreciate it?????
so really what difference does it make to you what size you publish it in???? other than upload time. lol
anyway mate hope to hear your thoughts
(Dec 19, 2012 at 11:07)
Not to mention your photos are better than ours, that's why you are a photographer. If everyone could take awesome shots of Danny Hart then people would not use pinkbike or buy bike mags for the photos and no professional photographers would be employed. These aren't "handouts", its advertising, which is what bike photographers are paid to do.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 13:17)
devonbalet: im not a well known photographer but i work extremely hard on every photo i take and i love sharing it with everyone. i would never charge, your being ridiculous..
(Dec 19, 2012 at 13:41)
watsontony,i was going to back you up but i don't need to,you make some pretty valid points
(Dec 19, 2012 at 14:02)
Same, extremely annoying. Lol
(Dec 19, 2012 at 15:51)
Why can't pinkbike just make a feature that changes your desktop background to the days current pod?
(Dec 19, 2012 at 18:48)
I as a self taught young photographer who is still learning alot if i had one of my images selected to be POD i would be more than overjoyed. Even though i still don't like people taking my images without giving consent its your own fault for uploading the image to the site in the first place if you don't want people taking the image !
(Dec 19, 2012 at 21:13)
if i write that program would you buy it?
(Dec 20, 2012 at 6:32)
Taking the images and doing what exactly ??
Selling them ? They should have a proof mark on them,if they are worried about it don't bloody well upload them
(Dec 20, 2012 at 11:18)
@ Pigman65. Exactly ! Watermark your images or just expect people to take your images.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 0:31)
this camera man needs to be more careful, one whip off danny's tail and its game over
(Dec 19, 2012 at 0:13)
"for Landscape Magazine".......looks like Hart just made the landscape his b*t*h.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 0:34)
Yeah! Look at the dust upcourse. It`s dusty all the way to the next competitor.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 17:14)
SHOT! The main man styling it up again, cant wait for the new season and Danny Hart fully fit with a new trainer again, podiums to come, Great shot focus and shutter speed is perfect
(Dec 19, 2012 at 16:19)
Love the shot, not a danny hart fan sorry. I will say that I like him much more now that he says less
(Dec 19, 2012 at 8:09)
the dust. pretty sure i see other riders on the line- wish i didn't, but regardless, the dust presents like evidence of incomprehensible speed. cool photo.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 20:01)
give us the full size version of this pic so we can have nice, stacked desktop wallpapers..that is all

(Dec 19, 2012 at 14:18)

(Dec 19, 2012 at 2:18)
Probably cut down.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 10:50)
Spikes on grass is a fairly standard choice.
(Dec 19, 2012 at 13:40)
Of course, but it looks dustier than Saudi Arabia!!! Smells a bit like p_oto s_op to me...
(Dec 19, 2012 at 14:11)
Riders were using spikes at Val di Sole because of the dust. I'm guessing that was CGI...
(Dec 19, 2012 at 0:44)
