(Jan 17, 2013 at 9:40)
There is a bridge exactly like that here in Grants Pass, OR. Every time I cross it, I fantasize of this exact thing...if only I had the balls
(Jan 17, 2013 at 9:59)
First time for me was mbuk bike95 in London he was riding with the bro Martin hawes. Met him loads of times in my life, Definaley been a inspiration since riding as a kid, now im 25 And he's still producing the goods.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 11:50)
It makes me happy that I have been around Scotland enough to see this picture and know exactly where it is.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 12:03)
Riding without a helmet is not advised, so no POD without a helmet. But riding there -especially while the road is open- is ok? Where's the logic?
I understand that you have to draw a line somewhere, but this is absurd.
This said, cool riding and shot! (Yeah, I'm in favour of no helmets and this kind of riding. I just don't want retards to get hurt)
(Jan 17, 2013 at 12:10)
When they would only make pictures POD with no dangerous situation - a lot, a LOT of POD's would not be POD's now.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 12:14)
He has got a helmet on and it's probably a set up, it's a great pic whatever way you look at it.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 12:38)
This one's in Oregon. My buddy's dad, Alan Pynn, rode his motorcycle across it. good on ya, Big Al.
(Jan 20, 2013 at 7:05)
dirrrtjump, I know that. There still is a difference between bringing yourself in danger and bringing yourself AND others in danger. navyman, I hope it is set up. And yes, it's a great pic. That's not the issue...
(Jan 17, 2013 at 9:24)

(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:44)

(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:32)
I would love to know where the photographer is sat!
(Jan 17, 2013 at 7:52)
on the other thing
(Jan 17, 2013 at 8:43)
Looks quite a way out from it though
(Jan 17, 2013 at 9:45)
wide angle and cropped
(Jan 17, 2013 at 9:50)
Just looks like the point of origin is way beyond the edge of the bridge, not sure how cropping would change that.
Can rob tell us?
(Jan 17, 2013 at 23:00)
There's not a ton of slope on those arches, and the camera is going to be at least 4-5 feet above the arch in the photographer's hand. To me it looks exactly like someone is standing opposite the rider holding the camera near head height. I see how the perspective kind of looks like it's levitating over nothing though.
(Jan 21, 2013 at 2:23)
Yeah I scaled the other side and if I remember correctly was laying down with the camera held at arms length and trusting in what seemed the correct angle so as to take in the form of both sides of the bridge. I was supplying the shot to be used on a t-shirt for Animal and thought it would be good to upload it...glad I did )
(Jan 17, 2013 at 6:51)
it surely reminded me to this guy in our country...one of the best trial guys (if not the best)....
(Jan 17, 2013 at 6:54)
Remember seeing this a good few years ago (2008 I think) in MBUK. Awesome shot!
(Jan 17, 2013 at 8:15)
This picture is from like 2007.....
(Jan 17, 2013 at 8:51)
"You'll take the low road,
and I'll take the high road.
But I'll be in scotland before you".
Not quite the words from the song "Loch Lomond".
(Jan 17, 2013 at 17:47)
The contrasts in this picture are awesome!
(Jan 17, 2013 at 2:18)
Needs more guns....and lasers......and a shark.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 7:57)
He's the troll on the bridge.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 2:01)
FVVVVVCK THAT. I'd have a crap on deck to choke a donkey

(Jan 17, 2013 at 2:47)
Oi Oi get off my bridge
(Jan 17, 2013 at 10:07)
I hate over-edited photos. There is no need for the saturation and contrast to be this high. I personally prefer more natural colours.
(Jan 17, 2013 at 19:05)
cool story bro
Below threshold threads are hidden
(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:04)
That seems to be more of a hazard for any cars passing by... You know that drivers eyes are not the road right there
(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:31)
it is also frankly not really safe for the rider himself. as well as the nautical life below the bridge as in case of a fall he could surely impact the local biosphere. as an addition we would have to mention the structural damage the rider might be causing at this very moment- additional stressing of the bridge and the arch structures not accounted for during the design process. also the obvious additional hazards applied to the driver of the car again- potential fall could be extremely dangerous for life and general well being of the driver in case of a rider falling onto the car. and then obviously the surface of the road damaged in the case of the same fall- such a hazard for the future generations.
this simply should be banned from pinkbike. from the internet at all. yes- indeed.
Nitty Gritty- are you for real?
(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:40)
wahwahwah no need to complain about it he is a pro and knows the consequences
(Jan 17, 2013 at 0:47)
@tworldsmine, Are you like... retarded? Here let me help you out.
