New Zealand has sooooo much good riding and so many companies and hire places to help, i have no idea why it is not more popular. I have ridden in Queenstown, the bike park is world class and they are installing $200,000 worth of new tracks! . My future home
because its practicly on the other side of the world for a lot of people. you guys are so lucky to live in a country with such good riding, holland sucks because its flat as f*ck and theres almost no spots to ride DH and stuff
^this. I have a small, but pretty flat, freeride park near me. I love it, but its in this area, so flat and not much steep/techy DH riding. Other than that, there are no trails in the woods (not parks), and other riding is about 3.5 or more hours driving.
For those who've never ridden in Queenstown, here's a short video showing a couple of trails and a section at Dream where you can really see how big that roadgap is - this POD is sick but underplays how much drop there is! www.pinkbike.com/video/295444
The last time I saw this drop was back on the good old days of dropintv. Looks bigger now....which is pretty rare for drops etc, they normally seem to get smaller! Sweet riding and the background is epic...
