So far I like it better. Hard to compare though because one is 29 and one is 26. But overall this is stiffer and better on big hits.

I completely agree. VPP pretty much sucks in that regard. This is much better but the bigger wheels have an effect on that for sure.

How would you compare the SBs suspension to the Nomads VPP? A friend keeps tempting me with a lime green 66 frame!

I would get the SB if you can get a deal on it.

Cool. My biggest complaint on the Nomad was the rear seemed to get caught up on square edge bumps and wasn't lively enough.
