 That's what happens when the ano wears off the fork. The soft alloy just wears away and oxidizes. New bushings and new stanchions are gonna be needed.

I f*cking hate when forks get this bad. It literally takes the best part of 5 mins to change lower lube.

 haha, yeah, It's the smell i cant stand.

 Coil forks get the worst i find. The coil it's self just rubs down and deposits all of the metal dust into the oil. Just wears the bushings and stanchions right out.
