 The Crank Bros Egg Beaters...didn't see them huh? They're tiny.

 oh yeah there they are. why are they out of place? they are pretty much made for a bike like that

 They're tiny cross country race pedals. To me the bike looks more like an AM ripper. Personally I would have gone with something with a little bit of a platform. And in terms of functionality I don't favor the whole Egg Beater design at all. One spring actuates the entire clip system, so if it breaks then the pedal doesn't work at all. Also the spring tension isn't adjustable at all.

 The pedals are great on the bike, I have super stiff shoes no need for a platform. The bike is an XC bike any how

 nice. yeah crank bros come and go. they are all personal preference but its cool to hear what other people have to say about them.
