Dude you're from Rocky?!?!?!?!?! I used to live in Bilo (2+ years) and I spent MANY MANY nights in Rocky at the Criterion and on the river. Had the best new-years of my life there at a B+S... I miss gong out to Yepoon and the Orange Bowl out on the Coast... Basicly I consider that corner of the QLD my 2nd home

 Hey mate....WTF are you doing over there then??? lol...yeah Bilo is a nice place and the Cri is a place i know too well.I used to work at all the B+S NYE do's as they donated money to my local Rugby club (Brothers of coarse) that i played for...those country girls are WILD hahaha.Mate ya cant 4x4 in the Orange bowl now as the greenies have killed that bit of fun...you can even drive a 4x2 out to Five rocks now.
Any chance of you coming back for a while mate or was it work related the reason you were here?

That is so lame, you used to ahve to have lockers just to make a few of the trcks out there, and 5 rocks should never be reachable in a 4x2... Man, things have changed aye. We loaded up the cruisers and Hiluxes and camped out there for a week with the bikes and what not. What a great place. The Crit is possibly one of my favorite pubs in the world, I walked in there the first week I'd moved over nad met a few guys who were playing in a band. Hooked up with them playing guitar and had a BLAST. Whenever I had fee time on the station, I'd head out to good ol Rocky for a little music and beer. There was that one dance place down the way full of tourists and then the big Cowboy bar with the Rodeo yards in the back, man I love Rocky and that whole area. I will most certainly be coming back aye

 Yeah mate its a bit crook eh??? I have a 4x4 (Great Wall wagon ) and it gets up there easy in hi range...i have low range,lockers etc but dont need it.
The Cri is a beautiful old Pub that "Goes Off" mate.Nice cold beer and plenty of bars to get served at.....had some big nights there digger lol.The dance place (next to the Heritage Hotel) is now called Flamingo's (again) but the cowboy bar is the Great Western...full of cowboy wankers.We call it "The Star Wars Bar"....remember when Luke Skywalker etc walk in the pub and there are wierdo f*ckers everywhere???? yeah well thats what cowboys are like.
I see you learnt some "Queensland slang " while you were here Aye...when i moved here i would laugh at the way everyone finished there sentences with "aye"...used to it now and simply love it here aye lol...its my home for life
