I am riding the 66 and didn't want to ride the noodle 32 so I put my 170mm lyrik on the 66! I would never disgrace the 7 with such a fork to actually ride.
66 rolled significantly faster since it was 6lbs lighter. With the 170 fork it raked out and descended really well and held it in the wet turns really well. Still didn't descend as well as the 7 due to the coil on the 7 vs the rp23 on the 66. Much closer when the 7 had the rp23. The 66 also climbed much better as can be expected since it had a 1.5lb lighter wheelset and was overall lighter.
The 7 is getting torn down and built up as a freeride bike as the 66 will do 95% of what the 7 will save for some bigger stuff. The tire bottoming out on the seat tube of the 66 kinda bugged me but oh well
