 It could i guess. It would be over kill though. If im not mistaken, it only takes a few volts to anodize aluminum. My anodizer safely goes up to and sustains 140v DC. I also use it as a DC power source. Its currently powering my homemade magnetic polisher.

 I used a solution of 2 teaspoons of TSP to 1 gallon of distilled water. You can find TSP (trisodium phosphate) at almost any hardware store. You can also use borax, but TSP seems to work better with less fizzing.

 I know anodizing aluminum is suppose to have a few more steps to it, curious if yours also does aluminum?

 Wow, this is awesome. I've tried doing some homemade electroplating stuff but only had limited success. What did you use for the electrolyte solution?
