Thanks! Build comes in at 27.4lbs. Wheels are LB carbon AM with King hubs (sapim spokes/brass nipples)

Nice! not bad at all, the fun part is thinking how it could be even lighter if you wanted! I like my Ripley, but seriously considering a Bronson..

In regards to those rims, how are they holding up?

And also, just curious, how much did your wheelset weigh in at?

I forgot to weigh them after I built them but I am guessing somewhere in the 1600 gram range. They have been holding up fine. I had the 26" LB AM wheels before and got a small crack in the rear wheel but that was because I was running pressure too low. They warrantied it but I keep the rear at 28-30 now. Before that crack I had about 800 miles on them with no issues. Their 650B wheels are suppose to be even stronger due to a new process.

You're right about going lighter. You could easily get down to 27 or sub 26 and still have a tough build. If I got rid of the chain guide I would be almost at 27lbs even which I could do since I have the RF narrow/wide ring.

Rad, good to hear, been thinking about those wheels for awhile now, I'd love to build a set with some DT Swiss 240s hubs etc but man those hubs aren't cheap!

Liking the Bronson so far? how's she pedal?

The Bronson came alive today. I was running the stock rear CTD and thought it was pretty good. I just got my Float X rear shock and the bike is so much more balanced now. The rear can actually keep up with the Pike now. DT240 hubs would make for an even lighter wheelset. The Kings are heavy compared to DT240 hubs.

I run their 26r wider rims on my Pro Carbon Stumpy FSR and have almost 12k miles with only a few broken spoke nipples. I helped them find tire specs for their 27.5 wheels.

Nice.. You running alloy or brass nipples? That's a ton of miles! You ride 6k a year?

I meant to say 1200, ha ha!!! I run alloy.

How do you like the MRP AMg man? Sick build, love how the Bronson's look. Sure they ride great too!

MRP AMg is solid no issues. The only thing I can note is that you do get more chain slap noise vs. running a full guide and roller. The chain slaps against the bashguard and add a little noise. I added some velcro on the bashguard where the chain hits to quiet it down.

Cheers dude. I've got a stumpy which came with that little chain stay guide thing so I might keep that on with the AMg which would hopefully reduce the noise!
