Aluminum dual suspension, aluminum rigid with a steel fork. One for blasting through trails and engaging in gnar-filled shenanigans, and the other for cruising fire roads and going to the store!

A Steel FS bike (stiffer than stiff thing on viagra)

A steel hardtail

Never made a conscious decision top 'go steel,' it just sort of happened when my beloved Alu Prophet died.

probably way different than 5+ years ago when lots of kids rode shore T's, which are almost nonexistent today. I guess kids and parents have set aside more money to spend on bikes! It's cheaper than bail...

Being a pedant, it does ask what type of frame do you ride, so some of the answers are incompatible. Strictly I only know of a couple of full-suspension frames: one being the Kona Cadabra with it's MagiLink spring; the other, which literally had two shocks, evades me. Would Spesh frames with the 'brain' count?

 ...what?
  • + 1
dual-suspension as in a suspension fork on the front wheel and a shock mounted in the frame for the rear wheel not two springs on the rear end

i had a bike made of steel for the last 12 years. crossed over to carbon. My god super light and still has the flex of steel. love it.
