Direct Mount is a better way to mount Shimano Derailleurs
Direct Mount should be adapted in some form for all rear derailleurs.
DRD is a blatant troll to force DRD frame owners to buy Shimano rear derailleurs for life.
The industry as whole should stick with the present replaceable-hanger dropout system.
I am still not sure about the validity of DRD.

I fell that the derailler will always be flawed and that gear boxes are the way to go
