Trek Remedy 7

 Excellent value for money. Big gap between sizes, needed bigger rise and shorter stem for me. Grips with single clamp are crap. Lyrik and Fox both are ace! Cranks are very sweet, other SLX parts will be replaced with SRAM asap. Mine came with Kenda Nevegals, no the sticky-E version And I would have liked the valves to actually use the wheels tubeless.

 I am commenting on the technology changes that Trek bikes have had over the past few years. I bought a Fuel EX 7 in 2008 and I'm totally satisfied. The ABP and "full floater" swingarm seems to have a bottomless feel, even though it's only four and a half inches of travel, it doesn't feel like you come close to bottoming out on rough terrain. Now, I don't drop off of nine foot gap drops, but for the kind of riding I do, it's almost the perfect bike. I do wish I would have waited a few more months, though, for I'd have went with a Remedy for sure. Trek bikes for 2010 have come out with the Scratch, the ultimate dream machine for me as of late. They just keep producing better bikes every year, I'm a Trekky for life.

 had this bike for a couple of years now. If it breaks I'll just go out and get another one. swapped out the stem for a 50mm and put a wider flatter set of bars on, changed to a double ring when i got it and currently have dual ply maxis minnions on it. I like the downs and you still have the option to ride up.

 i have a 2010 trek remedy and its brilliant the suspention is nice and soft (perfect for the tree roots, rocks and drop offs in downhill) but it can be locked off for going up them. if you enjoy going down the hills but don't like pushing your heavy thing up them then this is perfect. ITS SO LITE

 I have an 08 Remedy, and i love it! Use it for all sorts of riding, mainly downhill, but its fine for anything right through to xc. Bike is nice and light even though i havent been careful with weight. Very nice bike to ride, just a shame ive grown out of it!

 a little heavy for uphill but this is a very versatile bike. it does great downhill and deals with all bumps, rocks roots, etc. very well. i would strongly recommend this bike to everyone who has to ride up the hill before shreddin down it.

 Great Bike for the Money. The 5in rear/adj. front travel really soaks up anything an all-mtn trail can through at it. Great frame/pedal geometry; climbs like a champ! Active ball-bearing system helps with maintaining consistent braking pressure through tight turns and while cornering.

 I currently own and ride a 2016 Remedy 7. It comes with the ABP and full floater. A two chain ring up front, a dropper post, and other goodies present on the older remedy models.
It's still a great bike and alot cheaper now, i got mine on sale for around 2200 after tax, California tax so yeah.
A little on the heavy side but the addition of a dropper post all but eliminates that problem. This bike is not afraid of some uphill challenges, with the option to lock out the front and rear shock I would say the remedy even likes hills (disgusting I know).
Downhill is no different. With 27.5 inch tires all but replacing the 26 inch wheel, bikes these days can get away with less travel, although this bike boasts 140mm front and rear, a good value for the price.
Im not sure how long the remedy will be around in it's current form with the introduction of plus and fat tire bikes. But if your looking for a decent mountain bike with plenty of room to grow (and still have the money to do so) then do yourself a favor and test ride a remedy 7.

 Awesome bike for the price. Does everything well. Very light, yet quite strong. A blast to ride.

 I was goin to get this bike but I didnt anyway its a nice bike the shock is nice the travels good the fork is frikin huge!

 great bike, handles well in the air and on the ground. give you confidence, you always want to ride harder

 THIS IS HORRIBLE BIKE. I CANT STAND THE WAY TREK HAS STOLEN GIANTS SUSPENSION SETUP. GIANT IS THE BEST BIKE EVER
