I Would Like To Recommend This Product To All Of You That Will Be Buying Disc Brakes For Your Bikes I Have One On My Planet X Jumping Bike And They Are So Good Some Of You Think Its Too Much Effort Keep Filling And Draining The Hydrolic Fluid But Listen I Use My Bike Every day For Hard Jumps And I Go Miles Yher And Since I Bought Them Back In 2008 i Havent Changed Them And If Your Thinking About Buying Them For Your Trials Bike Your Making The Right Desicion Because My Mate Has One On His And Soon As He Touches Those Brakes Its Hard To Stay O That Bike Cuz Its So Light And The Brakes Are So Good So If Your Buying Discs These Are What You Need

Cheap and quite good for price. But if you want to use for anything else than XC I suggest get something with more braking power.I have it on front of my XC bike and it does it's job.Except that 160mm rotor is getting hot fast and it looses power.

Really good brakes. They are cheap and are quite light for this sort of 'all- round' brake. Rotors can be bought in all different sizes so this brake is good for all types of riding ranging from XC to Freeride. I have had these brakes for over a year and haven't needed them re-bled at all. They squeak sometimes when wet but nearly all brakes do. They are powerful and look very good. They are to easy to set up. I have also only ever needed to change pads once, and that was for the front.

Polecam praktycznie do każdej dyscypliny. Nie jest ciężki. Jego podkładki pod adapterem są na prawdę zbędne.

i was sooo impresses by these, the modulation and power for the price is just crazyyyyyy. pad rub is annoying, dont try to fix it, you'll waste your time, gona have to live with it, but since theres no pad rubbing sound it mostly all good

great brake for the price. has help up well to a season of riding, and i expect it to last another. after that, im buying something new, since i does have cons compared to higher quality brakes (power, modulation, etc). id definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget though. for the price, you cant find anything better.

I have also only ever needed to change pads once, and that was for the front. However modulation is not the best on these brakes for people who need it. It's good but not as good as some other brakes. However the more modulation, usually the higher the price. On the whole these are very good brakes with a budget friendly price tag

These brakes came with my 07 sx trail 1 and at first i thought i might change them once i got the money but i rode other peoples bikes and found their brakes werent so good! these have had very little maintaince just one bleed after a year althought one did have new push rods on one which was my fault. for brakes that are cheap and will stop you i recommend these as they are simple and do the job no fuss. My brother has the fives on his bike and i would say there is no difference! the standard pads didnt seem to feel so good but i bought after market ones and they feel nicer, i am not sure though hope this effects thier warrenty.

I am using the SL version of these brakes on my hardtail. Superb value for money, stop me fine and suit my needs, I dont need many ajustments on my brakes so prefer they arent there at all. Stopping me fine for AM and light DH

I have Avid Juicy Three SL model. I wasn't so sure how good they will be, because these are my first hydraulic brakes. So I decided to get these, because they are good for beginners, doesn't need much care, will work in any situation. When I went on a test drive, i couldn't believe how good are they. Stopped me almost instantly. They are cheap. Worth of price. I don't need anything better and expensive then these. Also, they look good. If you wanna switch from mech. brakes to hydraulics brakes, this should be your first and best choice. Sexy.

Im still riding one of these on my street bike and i love it. I bled it once and its been running for a long time. The only bad thing is i have broken a couple levers from crashing as it doesnt have the pop out levers like the 5, 7, or ultimate.

Well some people say these brakes aren't up to much but I like them. The levers fit comfortably in my fingers, and they stop the bike pretty well. They probably wouldn't be up to much on a heavy dh bike, but they're good on my norco bigfoot

Has been riding them for three seasons and they are amazing. Lots of stopping power with 203 Shimano SM-RT 79 disks. Great performance under any conditions, pretty enough stopping power for my 70 kg and DH usage and really easy to maintain and cheap to service. Very good choise for hobby riders and light weight racers (but only combined with the Shimano disks). For three years I had bleeded them only once in the middle of the first year, because they came with a little air in them. I change pads once a year, which is great for my budget and they aren't heavy as most of the brakes in the same class. Perfect choise for me and it will be the same for every other owner. They just need normal maintenance and it will pay back on the trails.

Excelent brakes for the price. I use them with 203mm rotors, and no problem.
Pros: Price, simplicity, and look great! The AVID Tri-align system works great for easy and quick install.
Cons: They haven't got much tuning options, like Seven's or Elixir's.

Basic but dependable....using these on an unused/unraced 2008 Giant Glory and are awesome !!!
Being 16st and been bike riding for 30+ yrs still get the buzz for downhill and all-mountain riding so will be a spokesperson for our over 30+ old-school riders !
Using a Giant Glory also a Nomad for all-mountain blasts, the Jucy 3's sometimes slow up after 5min full-on decents and feel like a dead spot and feel like there are no pads left and slightly sluggish whilst hot but apart from that they are so dependable on shorter downhill blasts and perfect for singletrack/canal and fire trails !!!

These brakes are pretty decent considering their price. And they have plenty of stopping power. But has some problems with the piston and o-rings in the lever. I guess it is let down by the cheaper internals.

for an entry level, affordable hydraulic, not sure if they can be beaten.

mine are nearly 2 years old now and the levers have developed play; there are also no fancy adjustments such as bite point which is a downside.

Had mine for nearly a year I think and they're still working like new.

Ive been using these hydros for around 6 months and so far have had no issues with them although a little spongy at the moment as they could do with a bleed/change. Stop me very well even at my weight (146kg)
