Pros - Rails hard, slays berms, almost no pedal bob, easy to keep lightweight, NO play in the frame literally it doesn't move side to side. I keep thinking something is wrong because all my old frames use to have play and this one is rock solid.

Cons- gives me super man confidence without superman abilities.

Best bike I've ridden, it's a little heavier than some frames but the extra weight is worth the durability and low maintenance. It's a truly fantastic piece of engineering. My frame with shock weighed 11.02 pounds for a large frame. Really a fantastic bike, I can't say enough about it.

I recently bought a legend frame and it was the best investment of my life. It can be built up under 36 lbs. Mine is 36 and it is the nicest bike I have ever ridden. It pedals amazingly with barely any pedal bob. It corners like a dream considering you can lean the bike way over due to the low top tube. And best of all you can pull tables and whips like no other bike. BUY THIS BIKE FOR YOUR NEXT BIKE

I must say that this bike whent over all my expectations. First thing i noticed was the pedaling. It doesnt bob when you pedal. Witch makes this much easyer on the trip towards the downhill track if you dont have the luxury of having a car you can chuck it in the back of. It just pedals like nothing else. Ive had quite a few bikes over the years.

The second thing i noticed was the stifness, You can feel it when pedaling hard. No flex at all. And in the really gnarly sections. Typical banshee stifness. Just without the extra pounds. Banshee has remade all their bikes. o something superior.

And then there is the playfullness. Maaan there isnt many dh bikes out there that is really playfull. But this thing does it all. Except for xc. It just wants more and more. To be honest it isnt the bike that limits the riding. Its the person on top the bike.

It is really active where it is necesarry. Takes on anything.

Dont buy a trend bike. Get your self a solid, light and playfull bike thats ready for anything that you throw at it. Go gett yourself a Banshee, You will not regrett it. Trust me.

Jk out.

Baller race bike. Extra fast. Production bike is on the way... totally excited for it. One of the best DH rigs I have ever ridden, light, agile and bottomless.

Amazing frame. The Cane Creek Double Barrel makes the bike for sure. Feels as though the rear wheel is floating down the trail.

Banshee Legend (MSRP $0) — Every aspect of the Legend frame is designed around one thing, to go faster! After 4 years of development, and designed to compete at world cup level racing, the Legend is a no compromise DH race winning machine. With low BB, roomy top tube and slack head angle the rider will feel at home pinning it over off camber roots and picking fast lines through even the burliest rock gardens. The frame itself has one of the lowest centre of gravities in its class due to the positioning of the rear shock as low in the frame as possible. With adjustable travel between 7" and 8.5" with self adjusting geometry this bike can be set up perfectly for any race course. The suspension linkage is designed to be progressive through the travel so that the bike feels plush on the high speed stutter bumps, but ramps up to take big hits without bottoming out. There is also a sublte but very effective pedal platform designed in to the leverage ratio curve that means when you stamp on the pedals the power goes straight to the back wheel rather than into wallowing suspension. Another factor that sets the acceleration of the legend apart from the rest is that lateral rigidity of the frame, using one piece 7005 T6 links and internally ribbed chain stays and seat stays makes for a bike that doesnt loose power by flexing, and tracks better rounder corners. The Legend frame has an optimally active rear suspension under braking that offers the racer the best traction and frame balance possible if you feel the need to brake. The use of self lubricating polymer bushings and our custom axle design minimizes weight and maintenance time and costs, whilst increasing stiffness. The 3.0" stroke shock offers a low leverage ratio, which results in better damping performance. The custom shock basements give the legend strength and stiffness, whilst minimizing weight due to carefully designed machining and integrated ISCG 05 mounts. The Legend is finished off with custom hydro-formed triple butted 7005 T6 top and down tubes with integrated gussets to give the frame strength with minimal weight. The result is a stiffer stronger frame that weighs in at under 8.5lbs without shock.
