This pedals offer a great platform and are fairly lightweight given their size. Easy to install and have 4 sided entry which I like as compared to Shimano dual sided entry. Don't get me wrong, love Shimano too, but having 4 sides to get locked in makes life easier. What I also like is there is no need for a special pedal wrench. Uses a allen wrench which most everyone has a set now days. And if not, can go buy just the single allen wrench or a set for less than what a pedal wrench sells for and will get more use. I can't find a problem with these pedals so far. I almost hate to get them scuffed up!
