Virtually indestructible, stellar brakepower with great modulation.
With the large discs it's nearly impossible to get the slightest fade, even on long and steep downhills.
The large brakepads last pretty long compared to the small pads other brakes use.
Once you bleed it correctly, you never have to worry about anything again!
I just love my Gustavs!

Pros- Powerful, absolutely amazing modulation, no fade at all, reliable, look great, 5 year leakproof guarantee.

Cons- Expensive, not AS powerful as I was expecting (still up there in power though), they are a bugger to set up and the reach adjustment does just about shit all, and there is no way to adjust the lever throw either. Adapters are expensive, which sucks if you run two forks, and you are SOL if you ever have to borrow a fork from someone unless you have that specific adapter, of which there are many.

Over all I would give them a 5/10 for value, but a 8 for performance and functionality. If you don't mind paying the bucks for something reliable that works the same start to finish, this is probably it.

recommend for anyone looking for tons of power and a brake that will last. these will perform just as good years later as when they were new.

Boat anchor. The most powerful bike brake. If you're under 200 pounds don't bother. A real treat, but spare parts can be hard to find. Adaptors are redic expensive.
