Whilst the front wheel stands up to abuse very well and is very strong, the rear wheel is much weaker due to the narrower rim width. This leads to expensive repairs due to parts for this wheel being ridiculously expensive. In my set the spokes in both wheels seized onto the rim, which is £90 repair for the front wheel and £80 for the rear wheel. If you have £650 to spend on a wheel set do not buy Mavic Crossmax Enduro.
Spokes seized and rear wheel buckled for fun. Had an issue with the front spacers and had to get them replaced as it cracked. Not had a good time with these wheels.
