The CNC work on this stem results in a relativly light weight product that is strong in all the right places. One of it's best features is how it totally clamps to your bars without leaving the 'ol face plate gap. As the stem cradles the bar from underneath your entire weight is supported by the stem structure, not the faceplate. No gaps = no stress risers either. It just makes sense that all stems should have been made this way. It's a superior design. Definatly use a torque wrench to install and follow manufacturer's instructions and you'll never have a problem with it....just like me.

For that direct steering feel and confidence that know that you're not going to break it no matter how hard you land. Plus great looks. If you're running a single crown fork or dont have the option of an integrated stem, this will be your best bet

Its a great stem for FR/DH. Its really solid, no flex at all and look GREAT. the only downside to it is that the bolts are in alloy way to soft and are prone to strip. just buy other bolt at your ardware store and youll be good.

beautiful stem great improveent over the previous, very stiff and lightweight i know the last product i have to worry about on my bike is this stem, il be in pieces rather than this.
just be careful over tightening the rear pinch bolts as it can suffer from banana bolt syndrome

pros, strong and very stiff with the best clamping i have used on a stem and with black bolts so you don't get that horrid rusty look after a few wet ride's.

con's,not available in 10 degree rise in the 1.5.

Not heavy, but very stiff. It's an intelligent design and
looks very cool.

Might be handy if you your steer tube is just a little short because the mount is short.

Unfortunately it comes in limited lengths.

Have increased to 100GBP rrp here in the UK but I still think it's worth that price, fantastic build quality and stiffness doesn't look too bad either
