good bb, very strong up to yet, but does need to be kept lubricated or it can be noisy. also the plastic shims can easily snap out/off, which then means a new bb if you break or loose them, otherwise the crank doesnt run on the bearings and wobbles about. but if looked after it is a very good bb and feels smooth and its amazing how much stronger it feels, really boosts confidence in riding with these bbs as you feel like it is indestructable. just take time when removing the crank and keep well lubricated and it will be a very good buy!

ive had 4 of these BBs, the first one was the only one ive had a problem with and the other 3 are sitting on my bikes right now, much longer lasting then any ISIS spline BB. these last a long time. i think the only reason the first one messed up is because it was the first batch and i dont think it was greased right because i have not had another problem since

I've run this BB for about a year now on my street bike, and have no complaints about the performance. It runs very smoothly, and feels solid. Most importantly, it's gold. The only problem is you have to be superman to uninstall it, or have a bb wrench with a really long handle.

Compared to two Shimano bottom brackets this was much more long lasting. Much better bearings that are just as easy to service. Shimano ones lasted me 1400 and 1600 miles while this ones lasted 2300 and still play free but starting to get a little rough now. Twice as good at the same price.

I'm not yet sure it's any better than other makes, but one nice feature of the DH version is the wider threaded cup sections. It means you can play around with the chainline a bit more. For example, you can fit all three 2.5mm spacers on the drive side cup (with 68mm shell) and still have plenty of thread left in the frame. This isn't approved by RaceFace, but should be fine unless you're really heavy and do massive jumps.

Would not recommend this one - Bearings failed after 3 months of riding. Stainless races combined with steel balls is not a good idea for any bearing that is likely to be exposed to moisture.

Strong and Reliable, just like any other raceface comp. can't ever go wrong with them. Had no problems so far with it, had one for two full years, and never had any noise coming out of it yet, best bang for the buck.

Tough as old boots. Used for Two Years and had no probs. Rolls like silk, and looks the dog nuts. Went for the d/h version due to being 6'4 and 16 stone so wanted it to last.
The price is right for the pocket.

Awesome BB, probably lasted longer than any other BB for me, really pleased with it, and for the price it's great! Who needs to spend an extra 40 odd on a Hope?

Feels stiffer than my old BB. Just feel good knowing that my BB can take the hits. Easy to install and not rediculously over priced like most high performance ones are.

I think that this is very simple, lightest and strongest bottom bracket in a world and it has better colour from another bb's

It lasted 4 years of riding, including 4 winters before the bearings gave up. I couldn't find a source to replace the bearings so that is a weakness

Strong, light, easy to install, I had no problems. Cranks never came loose like they sometimes would with ISIS.

Its just good and looks good too! The little spacer thingy works well to letting you know how many spacers to use
