Great Fork, I've been running it for a little over a year now and it works like a charm.
you can work this thing hard and it will hold up to what ever you put it to. The U-Turn is also super helpful for when you want to do some trial riding, and you can slam it back down so you can get back to park and dirt jumps. great all around fork, its all you need.

Very light and strong fork, however i use it for DJ and you will need far heavier springs than the stock ones, i am roughly 10 stone and i bottom them regularly with minimal effort.

RS Pike 409 can be used in XC,AM,Enduro and FR. This fork has a lot of regulations like compression , rebound control , u-turn (95-140) ... The Motion Control damper is brilliant .

I have this fork on my pitch and it is a very good fork, if you want to do freeride or any other type of riding it is a good fork. Also this forks suspension gets softer if you ride it enough.

Very good absorption of small and large impacts, adjustability is useful to fine tune the fork to your preferences. Would reccomend to allBig Grin

Can't recommend Pikes enough. Great mid travel, adjustable forks. Stiff 20mm axle. Got them on 2 of my bikes and love them to bits.

Travel 95-140 mm
Travel - refers to the distance the wheel can move in respect to the frame. Typically measured in millimeters, most forks range from 80 to 203 mm of travel
Spring Coil
Crown Single
Body Type Magnesium, Maxle 360 20mm, IS disc mount

Rebound - is how quick your fork returns to a fully extended position after being compressed. Almost all after-market forks feature external rebound adjustment for easy fine tuning.

Damping Motion Control
Damping - The process of absorbing the energy of impacts transmitted through the forks or rear shock during the compression stroke, and absorbing the energy of the spring during the rebound stroke.
DropOut Options Maxle
Compression Low speed compression to 'Lock' with internal Floodgate
Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
