Shimano Saint Br-M810 and Br-M815

 AKA XT M770 if hard to find. Just gold anodizing is the differance . Light weight @ 80g . Cheap price around 30$ USD . works very well. Note: Apply a thin layer grease around the outer plastic dust cap gaps . This helps to keep water out of the BB and prolong the lifespan . I use park tool water proof bike grease .

 GReat BB overall doesent wear as quickly as most other bottom brackets and is smoother that the crankbrothers, bearings don't pit after a large drop and works for Sunday frames thst have the odd 83 mm BB

 great product..never had any issues over the 5 years I've used them- doesn't differ massively from SLX or DEORE in terms of lifespan but I make sure hollowtech is the first upgrade I do to any 3 piece crank bike

 Great bottom bracket, one of the best out there, bearings last longer than Hope, light, durable and faultless. Can't reccommend it anymore, well worth the money!

 Hollowtech 2 = best BB system out there IMO.

Simple, reliable, not expensive, adaptable (throw out the plastic spacer and you can use the cups on any width BB)

 That's the way to build a decent BB mate. Use less material to build stronger components that fail less. Remember to face the BB shell!
