Have this on both my bikes no complains work asa intended. Cannot justify the price jump from XT to XTR!

Actuation Ratio - is typically seen in shifters and derailleurs. SRAM primarily uses 1:1 ratio while Shimano primarily uses 2:1. It is imperative that riders check to make sure that their shifters and derailleurs are compatible with one another. If they are not compatible, they will not work.
