Smooth shifting, durable and light. If you can find this on a deal, it's a no brainer. XT does the job just as well but XTR has that beauty factor as well as being more light. I have NEVER had a problem with this derailleur after dialing it in.

Actuation Ratio - is typically seen in shifters and derailleurs. SRAM primarily uses 1:1 ratio while Shimano primarily uses 2:1. It is imperative that riders check to make sure that their shifters and derailleurs are compatible with one another. If they are not compatible, they will not work.
