Good shifter, but not my favorite. I am not completely satisfied with this part, because I find my middle thumb knuckle hits the black trigger when the trail gets rough. As a result, I have had to slide the pod much closer than I would like towards the middle of the bars. I am not sure exactly if it is my brake lever not allowing my pod to change its angle any further, but I find the silver trigger to be to far back. I really have to reach back for it.

Really nice product, very tough and the thumb shifting only system is very nice for shifting when you ride DH/FR, lets you keep all your fingers on the bars while you shift which is nice if your going through some sketchy stuff. I haven't really had any cons yet but i only had six or seven rides on mine.

reliable as you like. sram is a no fuss company

i lost the grub screw to keep dirt out so unfortunately it means as i live in britain dirt can now get in(this'd happen to shimano too). but all i need to do is pop the cover off and squirt some lube in and good as new.

2 years later its going stong. mint

very good shifting ,it's precise and fast, I prefer it over the x-9 cause of the dial so you can see what speed your in during a race run.

for the price breaking it isnt a issue, its a really good price.

Wow these are just great. Strong, light and look great! i love the gauges that are not found on higher end triggers. they work great for my purposes. though they are very easy to accidentally trigger...

good shifter when paired with an x-7 rear, but the shift guide indicators rub off on my gloves, and the "ribbon" indicator inside has stopped working

great this replaced my snapped x5 and the stronger materiels make better response to shifting and at not much more extra wheight and the 1:1 ratio rocks socks

Never let me down apart from it being prone to braking on the triggers.
Smooth changes at a cheap price, who wouldn't like them?

I recommend! This part is great. I think it worthwhile to buy it. I've used it a half years and I have not had any problems with it. Great work. Good paint.

Crisp, precise, snappy shifting! It's survived the onslaught that is my riding, and the stainless steel looks great and holds up well.

Its just as good as the X9 but for less money. I have never had any issues with this, it just works. This is definitely a smart buy.

it is pretty cheap for how good it is. For what it is, it works really well! When set up right the shifting is pretty fast and accurate!

great shifter, two thumb triggers which allows you to keep your finger on the brake at all times, and trust me, it helps.
