Very Lightweight. Smooth shifting. Great for DH. Best if matched with XO trigger shifter. If you want to be very specific about the weight of your bike this derailleur is for you. It weighs very little compared to other derailleurs and shifting is much smoother than its competitor the XTR. This derailleur will work for almost any style of riding.

As anyone that has used one will know, the X0 shifts like no other rear mech, ontime, everytime, in mud, in rain, in sun, in sludge, you name it (as long as you got it set-up properly of course!). I've got it coupled to an X9 shifter and love it. Can't think of any drawbacks at all. And it's light too!

i have run everything from Shimano to SRAM x7, I now have XO on all my bikes, the shifting capabilities are endless, smooth & crisp, never skips even when shifting in rough terrain. And cleaning is great with the ease of pin removal.

greatest derailleur ever. will jump a 9 speed cassette from bottom to top in less then 1 second with insane accuracy. light, and easy to adjust. slightly more precise then an X.9 and you can brag you have a carbon derailleur.

I've ran Shimano for years (XTR on my XC bike, XT on my Bullit) and couldn't believe the how much more precise, crisp and durable the X.0 was. run it through mud, smack it off rocks, it just doesn't complain.

Pros: precise, no missed shifts, the CF arms can withstand alot of abuse on DH runs. X0 shifter just feels amazing, lots of adjustment for reach etc. set it and forget it.
Cons: not cheap

This is the pinnacle of shifting. best set up iv ever had. i have it set up with a sram x9 shifter, and it is flawless. light weight, carbon fiber, and looks amazing as well.

absolutely the best! i run the short cage on my dh bike and a long on my xc and they both shift flawlessly, no other derailleur i have used even compares! btw 10 gears is unnecessary. 9 spd ftw

Best derailleur I have ever used, shifts really smooth, easy to adjust, and light. Better than all the shimano and other sram derailleurs.

derailleur is super light, tight and fast, are the three best words to describe it. It shifts when it needs to and hangs on to the gear its in when it needs to

Very good mech but i've found X9 to be every bit as good if a few grams heavier!

Super crisp shifting. Drop gears into corners and pedal out like it never happened. Really, it'll make you a better rider.
