I love My Double . It was my first Transition bike and I dont think it will be the last one i get. I put a Rock Shox PIKE on it (90-120mm)with i think suits it pretty good. since the fork has adjustable travel i can set it to 100mm for diet jumps or 4x, but i can also set it to 120mm for some freeride fun

Great geometry, has a bit of a freeride feel because of the head tube angle (68.5 degrees when I bought it, 68 degrees now) but not so much that it takes away from its jumping ability. The bike really comes alive on jumps/pump tracks, and is easy to manual. Only recommendation I have is that it would come with a stiffer/burlier derailleur hanger. A bit pricey, but it is such an unbelievably nice bike.

This bike is perfect for transitioning from freeride / slopestyle / downhill to dirt jump / full rigid. I lock out the front & rear shocks as often as possible so I can get used to riding without shocks. It has greatly increased my skill / style / confidence in the air hitting bigger jumps and getting more accurate landings

My Double is a couple of years old now and I still love it. The Double is an extremely versatile bike that can be set up single speed (as is mine) or with gears. The bike feels solid and accelerates quickly with its short, stiff chainstays. The perfect bike for 4x, dirt jumps or slopestyle.

This bike is amazing! it can shred anything from dirt jumps to slopestyle to freeride and you can be comfortable on it all... the frame is a bit on the heavy side compared to frames like the rampant and killswitch but a with light build you can easily keep it under 30LBS

The Double, I think, gets overlooked. People aren't sure if it's a DJ or a FR/Slopestyle bike. It's both and it can be used as an AM bike too. I love this bike. I use it for DJ, AM, FR and light DH riding. I even use it for XC riding (I have an adjustable seatpost). The head angle on this frame doesn't make it a very good climber but it will make it up most climbs. But when the trail starts to get nasty and it drops into a DH is when the geo shines! I've done some light DH riding on it (I have a 130mm fork on it) and it does awesome! It's a fun bike that's not going to break the bank!

Without doubt the most fun you can have on a bike... best bought when not in a relationship as you won't want to put it down... my downhill bike hasn't had a look in over the last 6 weeks since I've finished building this... I just can't get enough... the bike handles incredibly well - it's so nimble and agile... very well balanced in the air... and nice and quick across the ground... fun fun fun... DIRT magazine were not wrong to include this in their top 100 three years in a row... buy one!...

its a good bike frame geometry but the quality control didn't impress me much .
rear shock has play and inserts are .20mm too small so when you lift up the seat it clunks from the play .

here is how to fix it

Wow, what can I say. This is a truly AMAZING frame for 4x, dj and light DH/Freeride. The low bb makes for some sick burm railage. The sizing feels perfect and it looks so, so sick. Best short travel frame on the market in my oppinion.

The Double is a very fun bike. I'm running sort of a flickable all mountain set up with a 130 mm fork and a coil rear shock and it is a great trail bike that likes to jump and rails turns. The short chain stays make it super responsive and it generally rides like a hardtail - except it has the squish when you need it. Well built frame with great geometry, good tire clearance, and a good rider-owned company.

this bike is unbelievable, i've been riding it d=for two seasons, and the 3.5 inches in the back (its 4 now) is absolutely great for the DJs, i've also ridden tons of street and park on mine with no problem, and the occasional freeride trail with 8 foot drop. GREAT BIKE!

loved the bike. Only sold it to get a dh bike, but if i ever wanted to get another 4x/play/light dh bike this would be it. Super tough bike, great design, and great company behind their products to boot.

excellent price point, solid bike that can be locked out for pump track, or loosened for light slope style. Also, it can be paired with a 130-140mm fork to make it a baby Bottle Rocket for freeriding.

I have one. It's BITCHIN'. Handles great on XC racing and everything that I throw at it. Ultra responsive. It's everything short of a DH bike. Get one. You don't know what you're missing out on.

Best all-around bike for someone who does a bit of everything...jumps, trails, slopestyle. I used to run a DH, slopestyle, and hardtail bike but have managed replace them all with this one bike...love it.

 Awesome little frame!
I have a long and I am 6'3" and 220. This bike is very flickable and rides great for a smaller bike. Take it to the trails/street or dirt jumps and you will fall in love with it just like I did.

I've ridden 2000+ dollar hardtail and full squish DJ's, and my 08 double decimated them in terms of capability on jumps and street (And even light trails). I highly recommend this bike.

Funnest bike ever? Quite possibly. Rides like a hardtail, takes care of you backside like a fully. Love it on the jumps, on the trails, etc.

This is my second year on the Double and is probably the funnest bike i have ever ridden. Stiff and capable of big jumps and big cases.

super fun bike to have, and if you're dialed, you really can ride anything on it (a few exceptions). Probably the most fun bike to have in whistler, even upper mountain.

This bike is great! It is very smooth on trails and Dirt Jumps. Its a beast when it comes to slopstyle, but the single speed doesn't let you go uphill very well.

Great if you stick to its intended purpose- jumping and slope style. Rear suspension allows you to pop insanely well on hops and off jumps.

One of the best and smoothest slope bikes ever, short enough travel for dirt jumping, but enough for downhill!
