Poll: Who Do You Think Will Win Round One of the Enduro World Series?
Voted that way too and would love to see it - but I don't really believe it.

Rocky Mountain Altitude 790 MSL - Tested
This is the start of an interesting comment. Do you have experience with these bushings? For my money, I tend to avoid plastic bushings where a bearing will fit. Most of the poly materials will cold-flow under heavy load causing more play in whatever system they are a part of. Sure there are materials out there that are very resistant to this phenomenon (ultem is a good place to start) but then you certainly aren't saving money as mentioned in the article above. I'm curious about the material used in these bushings and if the captured design has tolerances that are low enough to avoid cold-flow which would give you gaps and wear spots over time. Edited to add: Nice bike From Rocky Mountain. Would certainly make my short list for demoing.

Contest: Name This Frame From Dartmoor Bikes - Top Ten
No soft sounds at the beginning of a male sports oriented product... -1 for: chinook, choice, and shiva Eastern mysticism? Can we get something more original to go with a strong English name like Dartmoor? I'd have suggested ale or stout or bulldog. At the least it is... -1 for: Shiva and karma Dartmoor is 2 syllables, hard then soft - balance it with 1 hard syllable or the same sound for flow... +1 for: clash, choice, sequence, cure I left out roots entirely as the bike is neither a commentary on the seminal film nor painted with Rastafarian colors. Dartmoor Insomnia is a mouthful - I have a hard time picturing it as the answer to "what are you riding?". Be careful choosing this as you run the risk of arbitrary shortening. Do you want to propup the Dartmoor (as in Audi) or the Insomnia (as in Prius)? Your customers will ultimately decide and potentially weaken your corporate branding. a Dartmoor sequence is no doubt a sequence in this context. Contest or no, naming is an extraordinarily important part of your corporate identity. Leaving it to a poll on a website or random name toss is how you get things like Chevy Nova. Sure it's a star in English but Spanish? No va = no go.

Opinion: Who Owns a Trail?
This. Our local trail system has existed so long and sees so much traffic that it is very difficult to tell who the boss is let alone the builder. Makes me leave my shovel at home though I have been sorely tempted when the brake ruts get out of hand. I do stop to pull out new hazards caused by storms, but even that can be controversial if there is a possibility that it can be seen as a new feature. There is a rock garden at trail's end that changes character monthly from being ridden and the rain washing in new paths and rocks that I wouldn't even think about moving a pebble out of.

Taipei Cycle Show Day 2 Randoms - Seeing Double
This is true with one very small yet major difference. A bike frame with a snazzy sticker slapped on as it was said above usually employs a great deal of quality control. There are many reviews of frames, forks, seatposts, wheels, etc. ordered from china only to have a fatal manufacturing flaw...there seems to be decent follow-up but it is not a short process. I'd prefer to have some confidence in my purchases even if all I get for my extra 50% is a sticker and some QC.

Pinkbike Product Picks
Honey Badger seems like an interesting tire. Looks like it might be good on the rear with something a bit more square up front (HD anyone). What do you think RC? Did you like it out fromt? I'd like to see any tire information split into front and rear performance. Even in this short format.
