Do you know about white balance? I think your camera has an adjustment for it. It would make your pictures better.

The Invisible Bicycle Helmet?
Re-inventing the helmet for commuters is re-arranging plants on the deck of the titanic. Commuting by bike in a city like Amsterdam, helmet or none, is really safe compared to, say, L.A.
If there were no cars, or more realistically, decent bike-only paths, I probably would ditch the helmet for commuting. Of course, it's pretty different here in the U.S. A helmet is pretty inconsequential when cars are going 65mph. It would just take one pissed-off or distracted driver on highway one to end it for me, helmet or none. I can't say the same about pissed-off trail riders, never mind distracted.
