Adym

Love to get out and ride, whatever the weather. When I'm not cycling I'm in lectures at Oxford University, studying Materials Science, with the aim of working in the bike industry one day.

Specialized Langster Single speed

$200 GBP
Specialized Langster Single speed road bike 56cm frame. A1 Aluminium frame, very good condition, no dents, a few paint chips. Brand new inner and outer cables, 16T freewheel and Deda soft touch bar tape. Continental GatorHardshell 28mm tyres - these have loads of life left and are very resistant to punctures, I never had a single one. The 28mm width is great for extra comfort. 48T track chainring, with 16T freewheel, this is an ideal gear ratio for fast city riding. KMC single speed chain - excellent quality. B'twin aluminium sealed bearing pedals, good reliable pedal, very little use. Tektro front and rear brakes with new inner and outer cables, loads of brake pad life too, I recently replaced both sets. Also included is the 18T fixed cog. All the bearings are in top condition (headset, bottom bracket, hubs). I have used this as my commuting bike and I'm only selling as I now have a new bike. It is in excellent condition and I have no complaints about the bike at all. £200 ono Please email/text me if you would like any more information.

Absolute Black Oval Chainring - Review
I am currently using one of these (34T not 32T) and it is great. I completely agree with what has been said, that speeding up and slowing feeling initally, it felt like my legs were sea sick! But very soon got used to it and it feels very smooth. I am also finding myself changing gears more often but I guess that's no bad thing! (Haven't had any issues with chain retention - using XTR clutch RM)

Everyone's like, that weight saving is like a gulp of water, or like going to the toilet. But they probably do all go to the toilet, and carry as little water as possible. So this is all extra saving.

Ally1 has redeemed himself, but the combo seems a bit deflated. Need to get things rolling again.

Yeah, I'm getting the enduro verson, with slightly wider and bigger broom end for added snobbery.

Would be interested to see how a 650b shorter travel bike would tackle the stairs in comparison to a 26 DH bike.
