I am selling my 2012 Intense 951 with a great custom build. I am the original owner of the bike, it is mechanic owned, and has been meticulously cared for. The bike is in excellent condition with just your average wear, and a few minor scratches. The worst part of the bike is a scratch on the left side fork lower, but it is strictly cosmetic. The bike is very light and super fast, it corners like a bat out of hell, and jumps very well. With the custom valved Elka Stage 5 shock, the rear wheel stays glued to the trail and just feels plush and amazing! This bike has by far been my favorite bike I have ever owned, however it is time for me to move on to a new bike. When buying this bike, it will come with a brand new never ridden rear Mavic en521 rim, 2 extra Fox40 springs (Titanium, and firm). The lower weight spring is currently installed, so you have 3 springs to choose from. It also has fresh fork service with new oil, lube and cleaning, and a brand new never ridden shifter cable and housing. I also tore down the entire frame and cleaned/greased all the bearings 2 rides ago. I am selling the bike without pedals, however, I have a pair of very lightly used Deity Decoy pedals in Black. I rode the bike with clips, so these just sat in my toolbox as a pair of backup pedals, and were only used a few times. I will include these for an extra $40. The bike is pictured with Specialized tires, but it will come with Maxxis Minion DHF tires that are in very good condition. The full spec list is as follows: -Fox 40 RC2 with Kashima Coating. Comes with 3 springs (Titanium, soft, and firm). New seals with about 1 month of riding on them, and fresh never ridden service with new oil, lube and cleaning. -Elka Stage 5 shock with custom valving for the Intense 951 frame -Deity Locust DM stem -Deity DC31 Mohawk Carbon bars 787mm (31”) length, 31.8mm clamp diameter (Less than 10 rides, NO crashes MINT condition) -Deity Classic lock-on grips -Mavic en521 rims on Formula hubs with DT spokes -Maxxis Minion DHF tires (Lots of life left in both tires) -Sram X9 10 Speed shifter -Sram X9 Type-2 10 Speed short cage clutch derailleur -Sram PG1050 Cassette -Avid Code R 4 piston brakes with 8” front rotor and 7”rear rotor (New front pads with less than 10 rides, rear pads have lots of life left) -Truvativ Black Box Descendant cranks with 36 Tooth chain ring -Truvativ GXP 83mm Bottom Bracket -KMC X-10 SL chain with Titanium Nitride coating -E-13 SRS Plus chainguide -Easton Havoc 31.6mm Seatpost -Deity Cinch 34.9mm Seatpost clamp -Deity Pinner Saddle (Less than 10 rides) -FSA Orbit Z 1.5” sealed bearing headset with carbon spacers -Deity Valve caps The bike will come extremely clean with a full tune up that includes the new parts and fork service as mentioned above. Thanks for checking out my add! Alex.

No need to be sarcastic, I was just reminding some people because they seemed to have overlooked that when making comments on how AM bikes ride...

Shorter travel isn't the only difference between an AM and DH bike. The geometry plays a huge role in how a bike rips through rough stuff. For example, DH bikes have a slacker head angle, longer wheelbase, and lower bb height, among other important differences. Sure, the bike could "handle" it, but it would be a lot sketchier and less enjoyable for your average rider.

Just to clear up this whole "How gnarly is Bromont" discussion, Sam Hill used to move here for our summers to train at Bromont. That should give you an idea of how gnarly it is. Now he would ride these trails on his all mountain bike sometimes, but it is Sam Hill after all... I have also ridden Bromont, and it is defiantly gnarly as hell! These guys make it look so smooth, but it is far from that. I have ridden Mont St. Anne, and i think Bromont is way harder/gnarlier, but that's my opinion. The trails are so fun though and you should DEFIANTLY try and make it out there, but unless you're Sam Hill, bring your DH bike and all your armor!

Matt's such a great guy! I have had the privilege to ride with him at a couple bike parks, and he is so easy to talk to and just so down to earth. Not many professionals like that these days.

I have a white Chromag Lynx Titanium railed seat for sale. It is a super light seat and great for DH and FR. The only reason I am selling it is because the team I race for has A Deity sponsor, so I will be running their seats. One of the rails is bent a little, which is why i'm selling this seat for so cheap. It retails new for over $110. The bend is not bad and you don't notice it while sitting down. Thanks for checking out my add! Alex.

I have a 2011 Norco 250 frame plus parts for sale. Everything is in excellent condition. The bike was mechanic owned and I have owned the frame and all the parts since day one. The frame has no dents and only a couple minor scratches. VERY clean looking! I absolutely love this frame and build, and it is by far the best DJ/Park/Street frame that I have owned. Everyone who has ridden it also really likes it too. The only reason I am selling it is because the DH team I race for has a Deity sponsorship, so I am going to build up A new Deity bike. The frame has exceptional geometry for both DJ, Park, and street riding. It is very maneuverable, yet stable at speed and in the air. A super fun bike to ride! The parts are as follows: 2011 Norco 250 frame Truvativ Holzfeller stem Deity Dirty 30 Handlebars Deity Classic grips Deity Decoy LT pedals Deity Vendetta crankarms Deity VCR Cr-Mo spindle Odyssey Vermont 25T sprocket Animal Bottom Bracket Animal Pivotal seatpost eclat Pivotal saddle Note. The kit also includes a set of Deity Classic lock on grips in black that are not pictured. The Avid brake is not included with the kit. I would like to sell the frame and kit as one, but will consider parting some of it out. Like I mentioned before, I am only selling this bike because of my Deity sponsor, and am sad to see it go, but hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did! Thanks for checking out my add! Alex.
