Adam Brayton Out For The Rest of the Season After Training Crash
I've broken my collarbone twice. It's interesting because both times I believe I mostly fell on my head and I found out that the collarbone is designed to break to better absorb the impact to minimize skull or neck damage. So I'd say it's a pretty good design. If it was too strong, it would increase the chance of a more permanent injury or death. But damn does it hurt for a week or so.

Review: Continental's Updated Trail King Tires Are Impressively Predictable
They do make a surprising difference. A stiffer casing and/or sidewall allows lower pressures with less flex which means more grip and comfort while maintaining cornering stability. They are also more durable and tend to hold air better but there's a limit to how much stiffness you add before you get too little flex for grip and comfort and too much weight.

Review: Continental's Updated Trail King Tires Are Impressively Predictable
@smithcreek: I bought some Adidas shoes with Continental soles 5 years ago and they still have most of their tread left even after wearing them almost every day. They are likely the best wearing soles I've ever had. I just got the new Adidas Ultra Boost with Continental tread for running and they are super sticky! Very similar feel to a 5.10 shoe but with better rebound.

Michelin Return to World Cup Downhill with MS Mondraker
They just now started making DH specific tires again. Feedback on the DH22 so far is that they are the grippiest things ever!

Michelin Return to World Cup Downhill with MS Mondraker
@Lagr1980: I haven't ridden on the Wild Rock'R2 but I have the Wild Enduro and it is a much better all-rounder with a great center tread design. However, the side knobs probably aren't going to be as stable when pushing very hard on hard surfaces as they are smaller and more spread apart than the Rock'R and MM. And yes, My only minor complaint is that I wish it had a tad more tire volume. It says 2.4 but I measured it at 2.3-ish on 26mm internal rims. Regardless, the Wild Enduros are currently my favorite front tire overall.

Michelin Return to World Cup Downhill with MS Mondraker
Michelin almost always has colored logos on their racing tires of all disciplines but not for the production models (unless they happen to sell a racing model to the public like the Power Competition). I think it's kind of cool/smart as it makes the tires stand out more. But sure, it can sometimes clash with the color theme of the bike.

Just a tip: you should push in the rest of the tire as much as you can before trying to finish mounting the bead. If you don't do this, it will be impossible with some tires. It definitely requires some technique and effort but you should be able to mount any tire when you do.

Check Out: Alien Socks, Grips, Carbon-Soled Shoes, & More - December 2018
I've used them for the past year or so and I'm convinced. They do not give me aching pain afterwards, have good grip, do not slip, and are durable. They are obviously a bit complicated but worth the setup and price in my opinion. I've tried various ODI, ESI, Ergon, and other grips over the years and they all had drawbacks but I feel that the RevGrips are the best all around. I'm sure they're not for everyone though, kind of like saddles.

Tenneco Inc. Buys Öhlins Racing
They aren't that bad. I've had several Ohlins forks and shocks and never had a problem. It seems like most of their problems had to do with the models or parts from overseas mass production which is likely only going to get worse when Tenneco takes over. But I hope for the best.
