Riding a Nearly Untouched Ridge on Two Wheels: A Story of a Lifelong Bike Adventure
Yeah getting a complete backcountry setup down to 10kg does require ultralight stuff but not all is crazy expensive. Use a normal tent fly and frame without the inner. Use a cheap alcohol stove. Eat regular food. Wear regular clothing. Then splurge on a really nice down sleeping bag, an ultralight sleeping pad, and a light but rugged backpack.

Funn Updown Dropper Seatpost - Sea Otter 2016
Ya no ones mentioned that having the cable mount at the top was one of the biggest flaws in 1st gen adjustable posts, second only to having the thing explode after 2 rides
