Solo Coastal Cruising with Anton Thelander - Video

by Canyon
What would you do if you had Coast Gravity Park all to yourself for three days? That’s the scenario Canyon Factory Freeride Team rider Anton Thelander found himself in recently. With the park open, Anton and the crew at Mind Spark Cinema got down to work with filming the Swede’s latest edit, “Solo Coastal Cruise”. Showcasing his skills on the Stitched 720 before transitioning to his new blacked out Sender CF for some fast track cruising, Anton throws down with speed and style on dream trails. Sit back and enjoy the flow with Solo Coastal Cruise.

bigquotesShooting up at Coast was unreal. Every day we were out there at 6 AM to capture the incredible light in the forest. It was so perfect and peaceful, I've never experienced anything like it. - Anton Thelander.

Beautiful edit. Great camera work here. Music was spot on. Not annoying. You can still hear that Canyon doing it's thing.

Agreed, nice all-around edit! Enjoyed hearing the sounds of the bike/ tires on the dirt, but also some music to tie it all together.

But can you hear Canyon shipping their bikes and doing US sales?

What kind of shoes are those? Looking for options that are more durable than Five.Ten.

I don't know what those are but I've been riding the spesh 2FO for a while and they're pretty sweet

@carsonsucks503: I like the 2fo's ok. Grip isn't on the level of a 5.10 shoe but they are durable and shed water well. @monsterville I'm pretty sure those are Giro Jacket shoes

I use Etnies rap cms, theyre pretty much a standard skate shoe but are grippy on pedals and give some ankle support.

And here I am, scared while doing 5 feet drops and can't jump over a tabletop. Maybe 36 is too old to learn being confident in the air.

Start small and build up bud. Just relax and have fun! You're never too old to catch air-time!!

Tell me about it, I'm 37 and in the same boat! With that said however I'm still motivated to push it and get better, especially after watching an edit like that! Keep it up, we're not too old, lol!

I just started at 34 and have thousands of jumps in without injury. It can be done. As mentioned, start small and with a lot of repetition before moving up in size. Helps if you've got something local you can session day after day as part of your ride.
