Review: Manitou Mattoc Pro Fork - Reversed Arched, Foward Thinking
because 130mm seems to be a little bit of an odd position in current purpose divisions, xc/down country tend to go for the now very capable but significantly lighter 120mm models. "Trail" is now really 140/150mm where there slightly burlier (and heavier) Pike holds some ground but the usual +10mm fork "upgrade", if not specced, is 36/lyrik.

Spotted: A New XC Bike From Commencal
Looks to be "fauxkeh" produced by a phone camera, it estimates depth through parallax and digitally blurs the background. Its generally passable at best but this isn't a great example. The physical effect from depth of field on a quality camera is still leagues better.

5 Original 3D Printed MTB Accessories
I have made angled rear light shim to prevent my knog blinder just firing at the tire, pretty handy. Next up is a compatibility fixture for a long bolt on mudguard on my DT F535, will see how that goes. For those without a printer/drawing skills, 76projects have some great 3D printed products, including inline pump holders that include 3M backing too so you don't have to give up precious bottle bosses.

Review: Maxxis's New Forekaster Tire is Heavier & Better Than The Original
That is where I'm heading once I have worn my current Rekon. Fast rolling and supportive out back, more supple and open tread up front where it is needed most. Makes sense to me...

Video: Are Longer Bikes Really Faster?
Definitely, especially since 37" inseam seems pretty long for 6'3". I'm 6'8" with 37" inseam and I would be considering the large too if I had 5" less torso!

Video: Dream Builds - A Classy Chrome Commencal Meta TR 29
Looks like Super Ground up front and Super Trail out back which makes a bit more sense. Initially only trail was available in Soft but I think Soft/Ground is now working its way onto the market

First Ride: 2022 Canyon Spectral 125 - A Trail Bike With Enduro Geometry
Most CF around now is basically just for marketing, they seem to overbuild to provide "capability" / protect warranty, eating into any real weight saving.
